Types of Giving

  • Annual Giving - Annual Gifts are vital to the success of West Point and the Margin of Excellence by ensuring continued direct support for West Point's current needs.
  • Class Giving - Reunions are occasions for alumni to celebrate their place in West Point's history, reflect on what the Academy has meant to them, and renew their ties to the Long Gray Line. Reunion celebrations are also a time for classes to catch up on what is going on at the Academy and learn how their support enhances the West Point experience.
  • Corporate and Foundation Giving - The Corporate and Foundation Relations Office seeks to establish and build partnerships with companies and foundations that will further the ideals of the United States Military Academy at West Point.
  • Planned Giving - When you make a gift to us as part of your estate or financial plans, you become an integral part of continuing our historic traditions for years to come. A planned gift can take many forms and can offer you significant tax benefits.
  • Major Giving - West Point's leadership donors support the Academy through large, multi-year commitments from individuals (generally $100,000 or more). Major Gift Officers work closely with donors to connect their philanthropic interests with the strategic priorities of the Academy. We recognize significant gifts from individuals through our Lifetime Giving Program.
